The Techtop TAI 0.12kW Three Phase Electric Motor is a compact aluminium-frame industrial motor designed for reliable continuous operation in machinery and equipment requiring lower operating speeds.
Featuring a 0.12kW rated output, 6 pole configuration and 830 RPM full-load speed, this motor is particularly suitable for applications requiring substantially lower speed than conventional 2 pole or 4 pole motors. The motor uses a 63B frame and forms part of Techtop's TAI aluminium three phase motor range.
Designed for 230/415V, 50Hz operation, the motor has a full-load current of 0.56A at 400V and is rated for S1 continuous duty. It features aluminium construction, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) design, IP55 protection and Class F insulation with Class B temperature rise.
At full load, the motor produces 1.38Nm of torque, with 48.0% full-load efficiency and a 0.65 full-load power factor. Techtop specifies a noise level of 54 dB(A) at one metre.
The motor is fitted with NSK ball bearings, using 6202ZZ / 6202ZZ C3 bearings at the drive and non-drive ends. The standard motor mass is approximately 4.5kg.
With its 6 pole, 830 RPM configuration, this motor is suitable for low-speed fans and blowers, pumps, conveyors, ventilation equipment, OEM machinery and other industrial equipment requiring low-speed motor operation.
Multiple mounting configurations are available across the Techtop TAI range, including B3 Foot Mount, B5 Flange Mount, B14 Face Mount, B34 Foot & Face Mount and B35 Foot & Flange Mount, depending on the required installation.
Within the Techtop TAI series, frame designations such as 63A and 63B relate to different internal motor configurations rather than different external mounting dimensions. According to Techtop, corresponding A and B frame variants can use the same dimensional drawings.
When replacing an existing three phase electric motor, always compare the rated output, voltage, number of poles, RPM, frame size, shaft diameter, mounting configuration and physical dimensions rather than selecting a replacement based only on its kW rating.
